About Studio 39

• Introdution

Studio 39 is a new indie game development studio for mobile plataforms, founded in July 2011, by two portuguese students (Rúben Geraldes and Pedro Geraldes. Yes! Brothers!!!) of the Computer Science course from Instituto Superior Técnico university. Studio 39 is currently developing to Android.

• The logo

As you can see our logo is simple and clean.

The word "Studio" takes its origin from the small division in our home where we used (and still use) to work on our university projects. After a while we have started to call this working place: "Studio". The number 39 is a special number with a special meaning to one of the founders. And finally the colors are a tribute to our home country and purely symbolic representative of our roots, Portugal.

This three concepts are the foundation of our logo.

• The founders

Rúben Geraldes, born in Lisbon at 1983. Currently studying Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal. 

Pedro Geraldes, born in Lisbon at 1989. Currently studying Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal.
